Sassafras, Ky. (WYMT)- One campsite along Carr Creek Lake is closed due to the government shutdown.

The state park is open, but the shutdown still affects one visitor.

"It makes me very angry, that the government can't come to an agreement on anything, and there's gonna be like millions of people this is going to affect," said Falon Hook of Grayson County.

She had planned to be in the mountains because her father is hunting elk, but she cannot enjoy some of her favorite outdoor hobbies, including fishing, in her home county due to the shutdown.

"This is like good fishing weather," she said. "'Cause it's a little bit chilly to go swimming."

She has also seen the effects on Grayson County's business.

"Where I'm from there's like little restaurants, and stuff like that," she said. "It's just killed everybody's business."
