Small businesses encouraging shoppers to stay local Black Friday

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT)- Some local small businesses are opening early on Black Friday for the first time.

A number of local stores in Prestonsburg will be opening their doors Thursday night at 10 p.m. and stay open through Black Friday.

Store owners say there is no need to leave town to find great deals.

Business owners are encouraging everyone to shop locally this Christmas season to support to region’s economy.
