The only democratic candidate for state auditor was in Hazard Wednesday.
Former Chief of Staff for Governor Beshear, Adam Edelen, says he will make sure state dollars are spent efficiently and effectively.
“We need a taxpayer watchdog now more than ever. One who combines the experience of a senior level government leader with real world business bottom line experience that I learned in my career in business. I think those two things qualify me to be the taxpayer’s watchdog frankly when they most need it,” Edelen said.
Edelen is unopposed in the May primary, but two republicans are running for the chance to face him in November.
