Another band of snow will move into the region tonight. That plus temperatures into the lower 20s will create slick spots across the mountains. Additional accumulation of up to a half inch is possible in the valleys, while up to an additional inch is possible on the ridges. While significant snow is not expected, we have issued a Severe Weather Alert Day to keep you informed on possible negative impacts to travel through Tuesday afternoon.
PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Officials tell us a person has died after a train crash in Pulaski County.
It happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
The coroner tells us a 29-year-old Somerset man was hit and killed by the train just south of Trinity Springs Park in Somerset, near the West Columbia Street crossing, on a Norfolk Southern railway.
The man has been identified, however, we're told family has not been notified, so his name is not being released.
At this point, the coroner says foul play is not suspected.
