A late night shooting in Knox County Tuesday night leaves a father in a Tennessee hospital and his son behind bars.
Police say 33-year-old Nolan Harkins of Flat Lick showed up at 55-year-old Larry Harkins' home at the College Heights Apartments in Barbourville.
After an altercation, police believe Nolan Harkins fired three rounds from a handgun, hitting his father in the back.
Larry Harkins was flown to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville.
Nolan Harkins was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
