Southern Lights begins Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- A Kentucky holiday tradition kicks off this week, the Southern Lights turn on at the Kentucky Horse Park Friday night.

This is the 19th year for the festival which features more than a million lights.

As part of the festivities the horse park will also have a petting zoo, pony rides, holiday crafts and of course Santa.

Southern Lights runs from November 16th through New Years Eve.
