More than 100 families got clothes, coats, and Christmas gifts at the annual St. Vincent Mission Christmas store in the David area of Floyd County.
This is the 40th year for the event!
Families who have worked with the St. Vincent Mission program during the year on different projects got to come and get needed items and gifts for their loved ones.
The donations for the event came from all over the country. One Pennsylvania teenager even raised more than $1,000 for the giveaway.
"So we're just so grateful we can help share the real meaning of Christmas with so many people that come to participate in the Christmas store," said Sister Kathleen Weigand, Executive Director of the St. Vincent Mission.
Several local volunteers donated their time to help the families choose items.
