State employees to get free flu shots

The Kentucky Employees’ Health Plan announced they will provide free flu shots for nearly 275,000 state workers.

Co-pays will be waived for Kentucky teachers, retirees, state and local government employees and their dependents for flu shot from September 15th to November 13th.

The state’s first flu cases have already been confirmed.
