State pulls Williamsburg doctor's medical license

A southern Kentucky doctor has lost his medical license because investigators claim he wrote too many prescriptions for controlled substances.

The state has revoked Louis Wulfekuhler’s license. He had been working in Williamsburg.

The state launched an investigation after the Williamsburg police chief said some of Wulfekuhler’s patients overdosed and pharmacists complained about the high number of controlled substance prescriptions he wrote.
