A state trooper is recovering after a traffic accident.
It happened late Friday afternoon on Highway 25W in Corbin.
Police say Trooper Alfred Bunch was going south in his cruiser when 46-year old Anita Beutler of Ohio drove into his path.
Trooper Bunch suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at a hospital.
Nobody in the other vehicle went to the hospital.
