It happened just after Thanksgiving, and nearly nine months later the murder of a prominent Perry County land developer and his wife remains unsolved.
The murders of Roy and Wanda Campbell came as a shock to many in the community. Despite efforts by the family to find answers, the case still remains unsolved.
Not a day goes by that Shirley Justen doesn't think about justice for her mother Wanda Campbell.
"It's been nine months and we have no answers and we still have so many questions," said Justen.
On November 26th, 2010 Roy and Wanda Campbell were shot in their home, and the crime has not been forgotten.
"We do know the police are working on some things. They're not able to share that with us and we understand that," said Justen.
Six months ago, Justen and her family decided to offer a reward to see if any one would come forward with information. But, still no answers.
"It's a struggle every single day knowing that you will never see your mother again and the worst part is knowing how she was taken," said Justen.
Justen is looking at other options to get the word out about her mother's death. She is even contacting six networks to try and get them to do a special TV show on the murder.
"This is an unsolved murder, this is my mother. And i will never rest, never stop until i have justice," said Justen.
She hopes police can find the missing piece to the puzzle, and ultimately justice for Roy and Wanda Campbell.
The daughter and grandson of Campbell are also offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
If you know anything, you should call Kentucky State Police.
