There's still no trace of a Floyd County man who disappeared ten years ago...and police say foul play is suspected.

Michael Keith Allen was last seen in May of 2001.

Detectives returned to the area asking the public for help.

State Police believe someone in Floyd County knows what happened to Michael Keith Allen ten years ago.

“Detective Anderson and I feel like people that are still in this community that may have information,” Shaun Little said.

Though ten years have passed since Allen disappeared, but police have not forgotten about him. Friday afternoon they hung up flyers in businesses from Martin to Maytown.

“Trying to stir up information in the community to help further this investigation. What we're looking for is any information that may lead to the location of Michael Keith Allen,” Little said.

Allen was last seen on May 30th, 2001 in the Langley community where he lived. Police say the 26 year old was seen at his home, getting into a red pick-up with an unknown person. Foul play is suspected in his disappearance.

Police hope these flyers ten years later will jog someone's memory. They ask anyone who remembers seeing him, hearing from him, or has information on what happened to him, to report it.

“It's never too late to give information. It doesn't matter how small the information is or how useful the public may think it is, any information is useful,” Little said.

Police say they will keep handing out flyers until they found out what happened to Michael Allen.
Police say all tips can remain anonymous.
