Study: Better TV might improve kids' behavior

Posted: Mon 7:29 AM, Feb 18, 2013

SEATTLE (AP) - A new study suggests that changing the channel from violent TV shows to education TV can improve the behavior of preschoolers.

The results from the study at Seattle Children's Research Institute say that improvement is modest and fades over time.

But lead author Dr. Dimitri Christakis says it shows that "What children watch is as important as how much they watch."
