People from all across eastern Kentucky received help Saturday in a big way.
Volunteers with Dalton's Food Pantry traveled from Indiana drawing in hundreds of people to Hazard for an annual supply drive.
Those eager to attend arrived before dawn to wait in line for items they need to support their families.
Recipients were given bags full of food, clothes, and school supplies.
"The Holy spirit started speaking to me and said, 'J.R., I want you to feed them and clothe them and house them. And I want you to give back to society like never before,'" said J.R. Dalton, the president of Dalton's Food Pantry.
Dalton's Food Pantry plans to return to Hazard in December for another supply drive at the health department.
