David Wayne Childers, the man accused of causing a wreck that killed a Pike County Sheriff's Deputy, is indicted.
Wednesday afternoon, a Pike County Grand Jury indicted Childers on charges of murder and being a persistent felony offender.
Police say Childers was speeding when he allegedly crossed the center line and hit James Thacker's cruiser head on last week.
Investigators say they found drug paraphernalia in Childers SUV.
He will be arraigned on February 10th.
