Suspect involved in shooting will make court appearance

The suspect involved in a deadly shooting last week will be in court Friday.

A preliminary hearing is set for 43-year-old Alfred White.

He is accused of shooting 39-year-old Walker Johnson Junior of Atlanta in the back at a Letcher County home.

Johnson died a short time later at Whitesburg ARH.

White is charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
