WYMT Severe Weather Alert

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for all of Southeastern Kentucky until 10pm tonight. The primary threats from this system will be strong winds and large hail. Isolated tornadic activity certainly can't be ruled out of the equation.

Suspicious fires are under investigation

Fire officials in Bell County say they have people of interest in a series of suspicious fires there.

The Middlesboro Fire Chief tells the Daily News witnesses have confirmed a suspect set at least one of the four fires.

The fire chief also says arrests could be made in the near future.
