Unemployment rates are high, but officials at one company in Perry County want to help turn that around.
Sykes Enterprises has 100 full-time, permanent positions open and has for a month!
Sykes is an outsourcing corporation that handles customer care services for large companies.
And Sykes provides their employees with opportunities to advance in their careers.
People who enjoy talking and helping others are encouraged to apply for one of these 100 positions.
New employees would give advice and walk people through their financial accounts.
The four-week training process is paid and provides on-the-job training.
"If 100 qualified people walk through the door tonight, we would set up a training time with them. We've got two classes in november. One on the 14th and one on the 28th. And another one two weeks later in December," said Site Director Shawn Hafley.
Hafley says that Sykes is a great place to grow and move forward in your career.
