BIG STONE GAP, Va. (WYMT/Bristol Herald Courier) - A 3D printer, new solar and wind technology and the newest gadgets are some of the highlights to this years tech expo coming to Southwest Virginia later this week.
The Bristol Herald Courier reports the Southwestern Virginia Technology Center will host the event Thursday at Mountain Empire Community College in Big Stone Gap.
Highlights of the expo will include an overview of the college's energy technology curriculum and demonstrations by Crutchfield employees of some new technologies available.
The event starts at 6pm and is free and open to the public.
