Another band of snow will move into the region tonight. That plus temperatures into the lower 20s will create slick spots across the mountains. Additional accumulation of up to a half inch is possible in the valleys, while up to an additional inch is possible on the ridges. LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A teen is in the hospital after he was bitten by a snake at a popular southern Kentucky summer spot.
Laurel County EMS officias tell us it happened Friday night near Laurel Lake.
Officials say the bite happened at Holly Bay Campground, near the marina.
We're not told what kind of snake bit the 14 year old boy, but we do know he had to be airlifted to UK Hospital.
His condition is not known.
