Heavy rain is possible through Friday as a strong storm system moves through the mountains. Flash Flooding is likely during this time. Remember if you come across a flooded roadway to turn around and don't drown. Keep it with WYMT for the latest.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The Kentucky Lottery Corp.'s nightly drawings will no longer be televised but will remain available, streamed online at the lottery's website.
The lottery expects the change starting Sept. 16 to save most of the half-million dollars that it costs annually to keep the show on the air.
The drawings have been televised for 23 years, but the lottery says statistics indicate that few players watch the nightly show. Instead, more than half of lottery players go to the Internet for results, while another 25 percent find the winning numbers in newspapers.
Mega Millions and Powerball drawings will remain televised.
There is also a lottery Twitter feed where players can find winning numbers, and they are available by text message or email through the lottery's Player's Fun Club.
