Tennessee man dies in Kentucky accident

A Tennessee man is dead after he was thrown from his car in Leslie County.

State police tell us 40-year old Hobert Asher's car broke down in the Roark community.

Investigators say he got out and pushed the car backward, trying to restart it.

As he tried to jump back in, the car rolled over an embankment, ejecting him.

Asher is from Harrogate, Tennessee, which is just across the Kentucky border.
