Texas doctor is facing drug charges in connection with the pill pipeline

A Texas doctor is facing drug charges in connection with the pill pipeline.

The Floyd County Times reports Dr. Linda Ross was indicted earlier this month on a conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance charge.

She allegedly prescribed more than 127,000 narcotics to 10 Kentucky residents between September 2006 and July 2011.

If convicted, Ross faces up to 20 years in prison and a one million dollar fine.
