Texas company adding jobs in Kentucky

A Texas based company is planning to add dozens of temporary jobs in the Bluegrass.

The Lexington Herald Leader reports ACS plans to hire five hundred employees as it temporarily field calls for companies enrolling workers in health care plans.

50 workers will be hired in London, while 450 will be hired in Lexington.

While the jobs will not offer benefits, they are expected to last several months.

How to apply:
Applying in Lexington: ACS will take applications in person 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Mon.-Fri. at its locations at 745 W. New Circle Rd., Building 200, and 101 Yorkshire Blvd. Those interested can also apply online by visiting ACS-inc.com and clicking on the "careers" tab.

Applying in London: Applicants are asked to apply online.
Requirements: Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, and be 18 or older. Previous customer-service experience is a plus.
