The Kentucky Lottery has now awarded 8 billion dollars in prizes to players!
Lottery representatives are celebrating this milestone by traveling across the state.
Today, lottery officials visited Hazard and set up a wheel of prizes at a store near downtown.
People who paid five dollars joined in the fun and gave the wheel a spin.
"Everybody likes to win stuff. And me and my wife we always say if we were to win a big lottery, we'd probably be broke in a year because we'd try to help other people," said Deni Roberts, who lives in Hazard.
Lottery officials also traveled to Ashland this afternoon.
The Kentucky Lottery has earned more than 3.5 billion dollars for the Commonwealth since 1989.
