Three arrested on drug charges in Lawrence County

LOUISA, Ky. (WYMT/WSAZ) - A traffic stop in Lawrence County ends with three people being arrested on drug charges and the Sheriffs says the trio had been doctor shopping.

The arrests were made after a deputy stopped a car on the Left Fork of Little Blaine Wednesday night.

The Sheriff says once the vehicle was stopped, the deputy noticed one of the occupants attempting to conceal something in the car.

During a search of the car, the deputy says he found containers containing Oxycodone and other pills, drug paraphernalia, needles and cash.

Crystal Dalton,28, Anthony Childers,35, and Zandol Parrigan,41, all of Louisa, were arrested and charged with possession of Ooxycodone, drug paraphernalia and trafficking in a controlled substance.

The Sheriff says that following the arrests, investigators leaned the trio had been fraudulently obtaining pills from Georgia, Tennessee and Texas.

The three are currently in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
