Three convicted in vote fraud case will be sentenced Thursday

Three people from Breathitt County who were involved in a vote buying scheme in a 2010 magistrate's race are expected to be sentenced.

Naomi Johnson, Jackie Jennings, and Earl Young all pleaded guilty or were convicted in the case.

Their sentencing is set for tomorrow at 1pm in Lexington.

Former Breathitt County Schools Superintendent Arch Turner also pleaded guilty to federal vote buying charges.

He will be sentenced on October 24th.

Michael Salyers, who was running in the magistrates race, is set to be released from prison in August.
