Laurel County Deputies find a rolling meth lab, with a toddler inside the car.
Deputies responded to a shoplifting complaint Friday morning at the Pilot on 25E in Corbin.
They stopped the suspected getaway car down the road and found a one-step meth lab in the floorboard of the car. Five people were in the vehicle, along with a 19-month old child.
"When it involves a child of that age that doesn't have a choice and doesn't want to be there, people just don't care," said Laurel County Sheriff John Root.
All five were charged with child endangerment and manufacturing meth. The child was released to social workers.
