It is a small town much like Manchester in the tornado ravaged state of Alabama.

There was major damage in the city of Bridgeport after the April 27th tornado. Now, church groups in Clay County are coming together to help them rebuild. They are taking donations at God's Closet in Manchester. They want to do their part in helping this small town build themselves back up again. "These people would be like us in Manchester they are kindly under the radar so that is why we are tickled to death to be able to help people we share a common bond with" explains Tess Slipps.

Ken Bolin, who delivered supplies to Bridgeport and other parts of Alabama says they need just about everything. "What they need is diabetic supplies ... they need ensure ... lucerna ... paper products like paper plates and cups ... spoons and knives and forks ... they also need pots and pans just general house hold items."

If you want to donate you can go to God's Closet or to their website at www.mgmchurches.org.
