Police in Harlan County make several arrests this weekend following the discovery of ingredients to make meth during a traffic stop.
Officers say they were patrolling U.S. 421 in the Pine Mountain area Saturday night when they noticed some suspicious activity.
They pulled the car over and questioned the people inside.
During the investigation, the officers found several of the items needed to make the drug, including some finished product in the car.
Here is a list of those arrested:
Jole Smith, 31, Manchester, charged with DUI 1st offense, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, possession of a controlled substance 1st, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Christy Smith, 27, Manchester, charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st and tampering with physical evidence.
Robert C. Young, 32, Manchester, charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, possession of a controlled substance 1st, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jason Cottongin, 32, Manchester, charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st.
