WYMT Severe Weather Alert

We're tracking the possibility of more storms rolling through today, with some of them being strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has the entire area under a slight risk for severe weather through this evening. The main threats at this point look to be wind and hail. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as needed.

Truck wreck in Johnson County

One man is seriously hurt after a truck flipped over on US-23 in Johnson County.
It happened in the southbound lanes three miles north of Paintsville
The sheriff says a Brown's Food truck went off the road, fell into a culvert, and flipped over.
Investigators say the wreck happened when the driver lost control in a curve.
The driver, 48 year old Daniel Guyton of Ohio, was taken to Paul B. Hall Hospital.
