BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT/WSAZ) - Boyd County Sheriff's deputies have charged two men in connection with a second burglary at a church in Catlettsburg.

Deputy Jim Stamper said Aaron Stevens and Charles Mauk have been charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, and more charges are pending.

Previously, Mauk had been charged with breaking into a home along Durbin Road in Catlettsburg, while Stevens had been charged with breaking into that home and two churches on the same road, Durbin Independent Baptist Church and the Cyrus Chapel Methodist Church. Deputies say these break-ins happened on the weekend of July 26.

A second burglary happened the following weekend. Stamper said a day later, Stevens was arrested for the first set of burglaries.

Both men are in custody at the Boyd County Detention Center.
