HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) – Two people were arrested Thursday night for a robbery at a Harlan County restaurant.
The Pizza Hut parking lot was empty the night manager, Dottie Brock was robbed.
“As I reached down to put my key in my car they came out from somewhere over there, and said stop right there,” said Brock.
Brock said she was working alone that night, and that nothing like this had ever happened before.
“And immediately, I stopped, I turned and I said oh god no, there were two males running up toward me,” said Brock.
Police arrested Donna Brown, who they think may have been driving a getaway car.
He has been charged with robbery in the 1st degree.
They also arrested Donnie Pace, who they said was one of the men that robbed Brock, and she was charged with robbery complicity.
“We've had multiple witnesses that made statements that placed them in the area. One running from the scene,” said Harlan Police Chief, Mike Thomas.
Police have said witnesses did not see the men threaten Brock.
“While the gun was down there I still didn't feel threatened, and then he brought it to right here, and then when brought it up like that I felt threatened because it was in my face,” said Brock.
A feeling she said she will never forget, and hopes will make her stronger.
