Two killed, two more injured in Estill County wreck

IRVINE, Ky. (AP) - Two central Kentucky women have died after the car they were in crashed into a tree.

Kentucky State Police say 45-year-old Nancy Moore and 29-year-old Laura Jones, both of Irvine, were pronounced dead at the scene late Friday morning.

Being treated at University of Kentucky Medical Center were 50-year-old Darrell Spicer and 23-year-old Darrell Spicer Jr., both of Irvine.

The crash happened shortly after 11 a.m. EDT when the vehicle exited the right side of the road and hit the tree.

The wreck remained under investigation. No further information was available Friday night.
