Two local schools honored by state education department

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WYMT/Lexington Herald Leader) - Several Kentucky school districts, two of them in our area, are being recognized for their advanced placement courses.

The Lexington Herald Leader reports nine public schools, including Pulaski County and Ashland Independent, were honored by the state education department.

As part of the third annual AP district honor roll, districts are recognized for increasing the percentage of students who earn three or higher on AP exams.
