Two people face charges after trying to smuggle drugs into a prison

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WYMT) - Police say two people face charges in Clay County for trying to smuggled drugs into a prison.

Police say on Saturday, Kimberly Wolf tried to deliver cocaine to a federal inmate in Manchester.

As an officer prepared to leave the jail with her, he was told another visitor was trying to give marijuana to an inmate.

Officials arrested Anessie Patterson.

Police say the two cases are not related.

Both Wolf and Patterson face drug charges.
