Two people recovering after accident in Wolfe County

Kentucky State Police say George Holland and his passenger Tina Land were ejected from their vehicle after one of their tires blew out, then hit an embankment which caused the car to flip.

Wolfe County, KY- Two people are recovering after a single car accident this afternoon in Wolfe County.

Kentucky State Police say George Holland and his passenger Tina Land were ejected from their vehicle after one of their tires blew out, then hit an embankment which caused the car to flip.

They were both taken to the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson with non-life threatening injuries.

Holland will be transported to the UK Medical Center in Lexington for more testing.

The accident is still under investigation.
