Two people are killed in a house fire in Pike County.
Kentucky State Police say they were called to a trailer fire in the Justice Bottom area of Phelps in Pike County on Thursday.
Police say Charlotte Scott and Kenny Hamilton were in the trailer and both found unconscious.
The deputy coroner pronounced Scott dead at the scene. Hamilton was taken to Pikeville Medical Center where he died.
The cause of the fire is still not determined.
"The state fire marshal came in and assisted with it, and they'll go back to the scene and gather more information throughout the scene," said Trooper Shaun Little.
Police do not suspect foul play.
