Two accused of robbing a bank are indicted

Two people accused of robbing a bank in Virgie have been indicted and one could spend his life behind bars.

The Appalachian News Express reports 25-year-old Jessie James Keathley and 20-year-old Toni Bishop of Grethel were indicted on first degree robbery and theft charges.

In May, police say the two robbed the U.S. Bank in Virgie.

Keathley was also indicted for being a persistent felony offender which could put him in prison for life.
