Two businesses take steps to sell alcohol

Corbin is well on their way to seeing packaged alcohol after the city voted to approve the sales in February.

The News Journal reports two individuals have taken the first step in obtaining a package liquor license by filing notices of intent.

Guy R. Jones and John Christopher Davenport want to open liquor station near Trademart Shopping Center and Dennise and Marlene Crawford want to sell packaged beer at Mohican Discount Tobacco.
