WYMT Severe Weather Alert

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for all of Southeastern Kentucky until 10pm tonight. The primary threats from this system will be strong winds and large hail. Isolated tornadic activity certainly can't be ruled out of the equation.

Two men allegedly involved in a violent home invasion will be in court Tuesday

Two men who were allegedly involved in a violent Knott County home invasion will also be back in court Tuesday.

Steven Short and Heath Slone pleaded not guilty last week to assault and burglary charges.

Willie Patton told Mountain News during an interview that the pair pistol whipped him on the forehead after taking prescription pills and money from him.
