Two Laurel County sisters suing to get social security cards

In the government's eyes, they don't exist.

Now, two Laurel County sisters are suing to get Social Security cards.

29-year-old Raechel Schultz and 23-year-old Stephanie Schultz live in the Lily community.

They were born at home and home-schooled.

Their parents never sought birth certificates, vaccination records, or social security numbers for them.

So now, the women have filed a lawsuit against the Social Security Administration, hoping to get legal recognition of their existence.
