UK police in Lexington say a tip Thursday led them to arrest a person in connection with a car fire on State Street last Saturday night.

Police say social media played a big part in finding the information to arrest and charge 19-year-old Daebrion Hopwood, a UK student, with arson.

The arrest citation says Hopwood put charcoal lighter fluid on a sweatshirt, ignited it, and then threw it into an overturned car.

Police are trying to identify two more suspects.

Firefighters responded to 120 fires between Saturday and Monday.
