Capilouto says dormitories for 9,000 students will be built during

A request for proposals will go out Wednesday to private
developers who could help UK finance and build the dormitory, the
Lexington Herald-Leader reported (http://bit.ly/tGPGEf ). The board
of trustees is expected to approve final plans by December, and the
hall would open as soon as 2013.
The plans were fast-tracked after new facilities were identified
as an urgent need on campus a few weeks ago.
