The University of Pikeville is holding forums to discuss the new coal severance tax scholarships.
The forums are designed for potential students to find out more about the scholarships and what UPIKE's new extension campuses will offer.
UPIKE officials say they also want to learn from the students, like what majors they are interested in and what time of day they prefer to have classes.
"We want to find out interest, and get them involved, and increase the level of bachelor degree attainment here in southeast Kentucky," said UPIKE President Paul Patton.
