U.S. 23 reopens after water main break

ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ, WYMT) -- All lanes of US 23 in Ashland have been reopened following a water main break Wednesday.

The Kentucky Department of Highways says drivers should continue to watch for construction crews in the area Friday as pavement repairs are finished.

Minimal traffic delays are expected.

Officials say normal traffic should resume in time for the Labor Day holiday traffic

A boil water advisory for the area remains in effect.

The Kentucky Department of Highways says it appreciates the public's patience during the road's closure.
