Deadly accident in Floyd County

U.S. 23 in Floyd County is now reopened after a fatal accident.

Prestonsburg police tell Mountain News the crash happened just before 2pm Tuesday afternoon around the Holiday Inn Hill area.

Police tell us at least one person was killed.

No word yet on any other injuries or how many vehicles were involved.

We hope to have more on this accident tonight at 11.
