Unemployment down in 83 counties

FRANKFORT, Ky.(WYMT)- Unemployment rates improved in 83 Kentucky counties in January.

The Office of Employment and Training released its latest figures on Thursday. Magoffin County had the state's highest unemployment rate at 18.8 percent.

Letcher County reported 16.9 percent, while Leslie County was at 16.4 percent. Harlan County checked in at 15.8 percent unemployment.
