Patricia Fleet lives a quiet life in Versailles with her husband, 2 cats, and a dog. Fleet has a friendly face, easy smile, and infectious laugh. But it's her voice that might give you pause.

Fleet is the voice on many of the intercept messages you hear each day. Messages like, "Thank you for calling AT&T" or "The number you have reached is out of service. Please hang up and try your call again."

Fleet started doing voice over work in the 80's. AT&T was her first big client. Soon after, Fleet says, companies heard of her and started seeking her out for voice-over work. Now, more than 30 years later, it's estimated Fleet's voice is heard worldwide more than 250 million times each day.

Fleet says she has no plans to retire and says she'll work until she can no longer talk. But one thing is for sure, we'll all hear and remember Fleet's voice long after she hangs up her microphone.
