A few bands of snow showers continue to move through the area this morning, adding on to the spots of black ice we're already seeing across the area. The snow should start to wrap up by late morning, but the travel issues will continue into the afternoon hours. Keep it locked here for updates.
Fans packed into Rupp Arena to welcome the Cats back home. You could barely hear the horn honk when the Big Blue bus pulled into Rupp. Fans couldn't stop screaming for their favorite players, now NCAA Champions.
"It's nice to see this team go from beginning to end as #1 and do such a fantastic job," said UK Alumni Band member David Bay.
Fan Chelsea Bolton drove eleven hours straight from New Orleans to Lexington to make sure she was home for the celebrations at Rupp Arena, "I needed to bring home the championship with them. I needed to walk into this place being like 'this is it guys.'"
The 20,000 people present to watch the Cats file out of the bus got to hear Coach Cal and senior Darius Miller speak at the celebration. They then watched as banner eight dropped down inside Rupp.
